We are working hard every day to make this dream a reality and we have made some major strides, but to keep it going we need a small favor from you. It will take about 5 minutes of your time, but it will make all the difference in the world.

Here is what we are asking:

The Minimalist Management Manifesto

By signing the Manifesto, you are making a statement that you believe in the world and that you support the ideas behind Minimalist Management. You are saying that you want Minimalist Management to become the new normal for management and leadership and that you believe it will make the world a better place.

Please do not sign if you do not believe in the Three Core Beliefs and are not willing to commit yourself to all 10 Declarations in the Minimalist Management Pledge. Doing so will weaken the strength of our movement. But, if you are willing to commit to these ideals and hold yourself to a higher standard, we welcome you to join our movement and our community.

The Three Core Beliefs

1) We believe that the purpose of all businesses and organizations is to contribute to the well-being of their members, owners, society, and all living things and that the well-being of any of these parties should not be compromised for the sake of profit.

2) A manager's primary duty is to create an environment where their people can flourish.

3) Self-organizing systems should be the status quo whenever feasible because they bring maximum productivity, fulfillment, and profitability.

The Minimalist Management Pledge

1) I maintain integrity and strong moral standards in all business and personal affairs. 

2) I do not push my ideas on others, and I welcome and respect others that disagree with my views, even though we disagree. 

3) I set an example for others by practicing what I preach. 

4) I maintain a constant awareness of how my actions impact and practice empathy in all situations because everyone deserves it, even when they don’t act like it. 

5) I constantly seek personal and professional growth.

6) I constantly encourage my teams to take more ownership by creating clear visions and giving people as much freedom as they can handle to execute on the vision.

7) I am a student of human nature and constantly seek to master the art of leadership and influence without manipulation.

8) I care about the well-being of all conscious organisms and do not seek profits for myself or my organization at the expense of society or the environment.

9) I value long-term success over short-term rewards and remain persistent and disciplined in my actions, especially when things get difficult.

10) I strive to maintain a positive mindset in all situations and am committed to helping my team do the same.
